Story of Ramayan is incomplete without the mention of the legend HANUMAN. It is believed that Hanuman is immortal and he will survive the extinction of human species. As far as present understanding the Langur (Semnopithecus)  is the species which was represented as the Hanuman in the epic. This species is widely distributed in India

Scratch Ahh!

Sometimes funny though, birds do scratch their bodies a lot. Mostly it is because of many ectoparasites. They also clean their bodies by either taking mud bath or preening their feathers. Picture below show two species, 1. Great Egret, and 2. Black-headed Ibis scratching their head.
